  • Myspace - Here is another site thats part of the Web 2.0 revolution. This one has been around for a little while now. Its basically a site for friends to communicate and share photos, videos, etc.

  • Tech-forums - A great computer orientated forum that is very helpful in answering questions from virus problems, hardware problems, programming problems, and much more!
• E-mail
  • G-Mail - You need a online e-mail host or need another? Well G-mail gives you the straight forward e-mail capabilites. None of this distracting ads and slow webpage loading like um...er.. **cough cough** hotmail. Its got 6.6 GB of storage (and counting). G-mail is the way to go for online e-mail.

  • Yahoo Launch - Great site from yahoo to listen to online radio and watch music videos.
  • Yahoo Canada Launch - Great site from yahoo to listen to online radio and watch music videos. This site is for us Canadians eh!
  • Slacker - This site provides free online music as a streaming music service. It has many different radio stations to choose from that are based on a certain styles of music. Though they don't serve people in Canada yet. Other than that its a great online radio station site!
  • Last FM - Here is another great free online radio station provider. This one does serve people in Canada which is a bonus for us Eskimos ;) You can download the software or use it on-line. They have something unique which is called scrobbling. Where if you listen to a song long enough then you scrobble it which means that it records what song you listened to and after a while it builds a database with music of your taste. Then it will play music that you like or music that you scrobbled.
• Video
  • Youtube - Well in case no one has seen this site yet here it is. A site where you can post your own homemade videos and watch other peoples videos. Best Site Ever.
  • Surf The Channel ***** 5 Star rating ***** - Similar to Alluc but I think it has more content and it has really good host sites for the video content. Great place for watching movies, tv, cartoons, documentaries and stuff like that.
  • Alluc - Here is a very good site that streams videos. You can go watch the latest movies, tv-shows, cartoons, music Videos, Documentaries, Live Streams at this site. And it is all free.
  • Quick Silver Screen - Similar to Alluc but not as good. Though still a place to check out videos if Alluc doesn't have what your looking for.

  • Addicting Games ***** 5 Star rating ***** - Here is a awesome site that provides tonnes of online games to play for free. You can get stuck on this site for hours playing games!!!!
  • Coffee Break Arcade - This is another good site to play free online games. Though not as good as Addicting Games. Still check it out though.

  • Home Star Runner - This site have super funny content on it from games to very funny cartoons that they have made. The site is also the host of the very funny Strongbad E-mails and the notorious Trogdor. Check out the site.

  • Go Daddy - Here is a host that has had positive comments made by people that have used their service.Ive been told that it is highly recommended and that those people haven;t had any problems with them. Also it is very inexpensive at only 3.59$ /month for a 12 month plan. Even cheaper than Host Gator (below).
  • Host Gator - Just like Go Daddy this Hosting service has had good comments by people that have used there service. I don't know what managing a website on it is like but if its got good comments made about it then I assume its not that hard. Just like Dot 5 hosting it has a easy web builder so you can make your own website easily. It also starts at just 4.95$ /month.
